<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve pressure withstanding property against a pressing load to an interior panel and to facilitate vibration welding work of a reinforcing plate, a frame body and the interior panel by using a plastic material of the same kind as the interior panel as the material of the frame body and the reinforcing plate stuck to the back faces of a rupture opening part and an opening peripheral edge part. <P>SOLUTION: In this air bag apparatus for an automobile, at least one of the frame body 45 and reinforcing plate 47 vibration-welded to the interior panel 40 is formed of a thermoplastic resin material of low elasticity such as olefinic elastomer, and at least the other of the frame body 45 and reinforcing plate 47 is formed of a thermoplastic resin material of high elasticity with a reinforcing material such as glass fiber mixed therein. The vibration welding work of the frame body 45 and reinforcing plate 47 to the back face of the interior panel 40 is facilitated, and positive sticking is attained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
