BENZONITRILE DERIVATIVE AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide new intermediates for efficiently producing a 2-fluoro-4-substituted benzonitrile derivative in which an alkenyl group is introduced and to provide a simple method for producing the intermediate compounds. SOLUTION: The benzonitrile derivative is represented by formula (I) and has an acetal group. The method for efficiently producing the compound comprises using a 4-substituted-2-fluoro-1-halogenobenzene derivative containing the acetal group or a 4-substituted-2-fluorobenzaldehyde derivative containing the acetal group as a starting raw material.
