<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas isolating process which efficiently recovers first and second gaseous components from a mixed gas containing a plurality of gaseous components when gaseous components are separated using a pressure swing type adsorption and isolation method and can be reduced in cost. <P>SOLUTION: A first adsorption column 11, which is equipped with a first adsorbent hard to adsorb the first gaseous component but easy to adsorb the second gaseous component, and a second adsorption column 21, which is equipped with a second adsorbent easy to adsorb the first gaseous component but hard to adsorb the second gaseous component, are used. Between an adsorption process and a regeneration process, a pressure equalizing and reducing process and a pressure equalizing and applying process for equalizing the pressures of the adsorption columns 11 and 21 are performed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
