PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the nozzle plate of a piezoelectric ink jet head in which flight characteristics of ink particles are enhanced. SOLUTION: A nozzle hole 21 is defined by a columnar hole part 25 having a forward end serving as an ink ejection hole 24, an annular curved surface part 26, and a tapered hole part 22 having a rearward end facing an ink chamber. The annular curved surface part 26 exists between the columnar hole part 25 and the tapered hole part 22 and has a radius of 0.03 mm. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
