The invention provides an optical fibre exit conduit (10) for feeding fibre(s) from/to a main fibre conduit (12) of the type having a pair of generally upstanding sidewalls (32) terminating at respective open top edges (34); the fibre exit comprises: a fibre conduit section (20); a first engagement means (31) for mounting the fibre exit along a respective top edge of the said main conduit such that, in use, fibre(s) is/are fed through the open top of the main conduit to the conduit exit section; and a second engagement means (58) for alternatively mounting the fibre exit along a respective sidewall (32) of the conduit in the region of an opening (55) in the sidewall, such that, in use, fibre(s) is/are fed from the main conduit through the opening to the conduit section.
