<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform data transmission, without stopping the operation of a unit to be driven with a simple circuit configuration. <P>SOLUTION: An analog electronic timepiece 10 is provided with an oscillator circuit 11, a frequency-dividing circuit 12, and a drive signal generating circuit 13. The timepiece 10 is also provided with a drive circuit 15, a data storage circuit 16, and a data-transmitting signal pulse generating circuit 17. In addition, the timepiece 10 is also provided with a control circuit 18, a detection circuit 19, and a motor coil 14 with the control circuit 18 performing hand drive by outputting a drive signal to the motor coil 14, by means of the oscillator circuit 11, the frequency-dividing circuit 12, the drive signal generating circuit 13, and the drive circuit 15. When the detection circuit 19 detects a calling signal sent from the outside, the timepiece 10 performs data transmission between the pulses of the driving signal by means of the data storage circuit 16 and data transmitting signal pulse generating circuit 17. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
