PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic radial tire that can suppress partial wear and outer diameter growth caused by a belt structure body in improving high speed durability and belt separation resistance based on the belt structure body. SOLUTION: The belt structure body 7 arranged on the outer peripheral side of a carcass layer 4 in a tread part 1, comprises an annular core body belt layer 7a formed by winding a reinforcing cord substantially at 0°to the circumferential direction of the tire, and a covering belt layer 7b formed by spirally winding a reinforcing cord around the core body belt layer 7a. The ratio (Wc/Wl) of the width Wc of the core body belt layer 7a to the width Wl of the covering belt layer 7b is set to 0.5-0.95. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
