PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a liquid cosmetic having excellent sense of use even in the presence of a water-soluble L-ascorbic acid derivative. SOLUTION: The liquid cosmetic comprises (a) a specific polyoxypropylene diglyceryl, (b) 0.5-5 wt.% of the water-soluble L-ascorbic acid derivative, (c) one or more kinds of polyhydric alcohols containing three or more hydroxy groups as essential components and (d) ethanol in the content mass ratio of the component (a) to the component (b) of 1:10-10:1.
