PURPOSE: A welding device for a spot welding robot system is provided to easily carry out a spot welding work with respect to a welding section having a large sectional surface. CONSTITUTION: A welding device for a spot welding robot system includes a jig plate(13) for supporting a welding object(10) by using an assembling jig(11). An electrode block(17) is installed at a position corresponding to a welding section(15) of the welding object(10). A fixing electrode(19) is fixedly installed on the electrode block(17). A hinge section(23) is formed at a front end of a robot arm(21) of a spot welding robot system. A movable electrode(25) is hinged to the hinge section(23) corresponding to the fixing electrode(19). An electrode driving device is provided at one side of the robot arm(21). A fixing plate is fixed to the electrode block(17) through an insulator.
