PURPOSE: A customized application service device by a dynamic component assembly and a method thereof are provided to enable a client who receives an application service to search and select component applications and functions directly, and supply a dynamically assembled application service. CONSTITUTION: A service directory(31) stores and searches definitions of components which implement a definition as to a service and functions which constitute a service. A service template storage(32) includes a service template which defines detailed configuration information as to each actual service. A component storage(33) includes components which constitute a service. An assembly engine(34) assembles components selected by a user based on a service template. A service storage(35) includes a definition note which defines an association among service templates according to users and components selected by a user. An application service server(36) receives a service request from a user, accesses to each component in accordance with the request, and supplies a service for the user. The application service server(36) receives the service request from a client(10) through a communication network(20) and processes the service request.
