PURPOSE: An intelligent power module for electric vehicles is provided to enhance the reliability and the stability of a voltage monitoring operation in a DC link by using an isolated amplifier to separate stably a driving voltage signal from a control signal. CONSTITUTION: An intelligent power module for electric vehicles includes a gate portion(200), an inverter portion(100), and an abnormal state detection portion(300). The gate portion(100) is switched by a control signal applied to a parent processor according to a driver's traveling request in order to create a PWM signal. The inverter portion(100) performs a high-speed switching operation according to the PWM signal of the gate portion(200) in order to output three-phase voltages. The abnormal state detection portion(300) monitors a DC link signal of a high voltage side as a driving signal. The abnormal state detection portion(300) is formed with a first resistor(R11), a second resistor(R12), an insulation amplifier(310), and a comparator(320).
