BACILLUS SP. I-52 PRODUCING HIGHLY ACTIVE ALKALINE PROTEASE

PURPOSE: Provided is Bacillus sp. I-52 which is characterized by producing highly active alkaline proteases. Also, provided are proteases produced therefrom, and isolation and mass-production methods thereof. CONSTITUTION: Bacillus sp. I-52(KCTC 10277BP) produces proteases. The produced proteases are isolated by the steps of: recovering the supernatant of cultured Bacillus sp. I-52 by centrifugation; adsorbing proteases and eluting active fractions; subjecting the eluate to chromatography to elute active fractions; and isolating the protein having protease activity and a molecular weight of 28kDa.
