PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for driving a digital paper display panel are provided to connect with the display image data by easily connecting and disconnecting with the panel drive unit to drive the digital paper display panel. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for driving a digital paper display panel includes a panel display unit(30B) and a panel driving unit(30A). The panel display unit(30B) is provided with a plurality of cells arranged in the form of matrix in such a way that they display an image by using an electric ink. And, the panel driving unit(30A) supplies the driving signal so as to display the image by easily forming the connection and disconnection with the panel display unit(30B).
