PURPOSE: Installation structure of a ball joint for a suspension is provided to prevent damage of the installation portion and improve the durability of parts by distributing load concentrated on the installation portion with modifying the installation structure of the ball joint. CONSTITUTION: A front suspension comprises a first ball joint(14) connecting the end of an upper arm around a wheel to the upper part of a knuckle arm with turning relatively, and a second ball joint(18) connecting the end of a lower arm around the wheel to the lower part of the knuckle arm with turning relatively. An opening part is formed in the lower part of the knuckle arm, and opened at one side. The second ball joint is supported in an installation portion(12a), and the installation portion of the knuckle arm is rounded.
