<p>The self-extinguishable three-pole power gas arrestor for lightning and overvoltage arrestors in low-voltage power supply networks is used for the discharge of transient overvoltages and limiting current peaks particularly those, which are a consequence of lightning, with two external electrodes and an external trigger electrode for the discharge of a transformed high voltage pulse, two internal electrodes, attached above the specified external electrodes designed in such a way that there is a maximum effect of power discharge, made from such a material that it contributes to extinguishing the vortex plasma, created when the lightning pulse is discharged, with a joint ignition chamber, filled with inert gas, which dampens the plasma and accelerates the self-extinguishing process, closed off with glass based insulation on both ends of the specified three-pole gas arrestor, which operates in a monomode mode in the direction of the phase discharge against equipotential equalization, earth and differentially neutral conductor towards earth as well as differentially between phase L and the neutral conductor to be used in low-voltage power supply networks of up to 1000 V.</p> |
