QUINONE-BASED REMEDIES FOR LIVER DISEASES

It is intended to provide remedies for liver diseases, in particular, via the inhibition of the occurrence of portal vein tumor infiltration (PVI). Thus, excellent remedies/preventives for liver diseases containing menatetrenone as the active ingredient are disclosed. These remedies/preventives are efficacious liver cancer, in particular, des-gamma-carboxy prothrombin (DCP) positive liver cancer. Moreover, these remedies/preventives containing menatetrenone as the active ingredient show a remarkable effect of improving the prognosis after the treatment of liver cancer and, exhibit an excellent effect as preventives for liver cancer recurrence.
