PURPOSE: A water level adjusting apparatus for a water tank is provided to effectively detect a water level, which is varied caused by a heater of a steam generator, by using a sensor. CONSTITUTION: A water level adjusting apparatus includes a sensing device and a power control device. The sensing device includes a water level sensor for detecting a variation of a water level caused by a heater of a steam generator. A heater power relay is controlled by a power control device. The water level sensor has a displacement section which is varied depending on the water level. When the heater generates steam, the water level in the tank is reduced so that the displacement section installed in the tank is varied. The power control device controls a relay through the water sensor, a temperature adjusting sensor and a pressure adjusting sensor.
