PURPOSE: A back pressure structure of a scroll compressor is provided to prevent a fixing scroll from inclining, to increase the efficiency of the compressor by restricting the leakage of refrigerant gas, and to improve reliability of products by inhibiting the wear of each wrap or a sealing member. CONSTITUTION: A fixing scroll(20) is engaged with a turning scroll and two pressure chambers(P1,P2) are in a pair. A discharge cover(30) fixed to a closed container to divide high and low-pressure parts is arranged in the rear side of the fixing scroll. A pair of semi-ring shaped back pressure chambers(B1,B2) is uneven to each other and formed at both sides about a discharge port(21). Back pressure holes(22,22') are arranged at both sides of the fixing scroll to communicate the pressure chambers and the correspondent back pressure chambers at the same time. A Teflon sealing member is inserted between a protruded section of the fixing scroll and a recessed section of the discharge cover at the upper section of both sides of the back pressure chambers to mix the refrigerant gas of each back pressure chamber through an axial clearance.
