<p>An apparatus for culturing living cells, comprising culture tank (2) for accommodating a nutrient medium, circulation means (10) for effecting external circulation of the nutrient medium of the culture tank (2) and nutrient medium conditioning means (20) for conditioning the state of nutrient medium while the nutrient medium is being externally circulated. The nutrient medium of the culture tank (2) is externally circulated, and during the circulation outside the culture tank (2), the state of nutrient medium can be conditioned. Therefore, the state of nutrient medium in the culture tank (2) can be maintained at condition optimum for the cells accommodated in the culture tank (2) and thus the cells can be stably cultured continuously for a prolonged period of time.</p> |
