PURPOSE: A safety apparatus of a sliding door for a vehicle is provided to prevent a collision of a fuel filler door and the sliding door by restricting opening of the sliding door in opening the fuel filler door. CONSTITUTION: A fuel filler door(21) turns to open and close a fuel filler(20) formed at the side of a vehicle body, and a sliding door(10) has a roller(11) to move backward along a guide rail(30) installed for the fuel filler door. The fuel filler door is connected to a moving body(32) elastically installed in the vehicle body by a cable(22). A stopper(31) is protruded near the fuel filler with acting the moving body, and contacted to the moving body. Fuel leakage or damage of the vehicle body is restricted by preventing the collision of the fuel filler door and the sliding door.
