PURPOSE: A connecting member of a water stop plate of a construction joint part and an expansion joint member of an expansion joint part for preventing leak of water in a concrete structure is provided to prevent leakage of water in the connection portion of the synthetic or rubber water stop plate and the metal expansion joint member and restrict land subsidence or deformation of the concrete wall by stabilizing the connection portion. CONSTITUTION: A water stop plate connecting member(1) is composed of a nonmetal water stop plate(2) and a metal plate(3). The water stop plate is installed in a wall and made of synthetic resin or rubber to prevent leakage of water in a concrete structure. The metal plate is formed in the water stop plate by injection-molding, and made of corrosion-resistive copper as an expansion joint member(4). An end of the metal plate is embedded in the body of the water stop plate, and an exposure part(3b) is exposed out of the water stop plate. Plural holes are formed in the end of the metal plate, and both sides of the water stop plate are integrated with a connection part by filling holes with molten synthetic resin. Leak is prevented by coupling the synthetic resin water stop plate to the metal expansion member with the connecting member.
