Production of injection mouldings, especially pressure molded components (1a), comprises injecting the material to be molded into the hollow chamber (1) of a tool (5a, 5b) via a channel. Arms (2a, 2b, 2d, 2e) are formed in the channels, and are removed after the mould filling phase before the material hardens. At least one arm is left in place at the end of the molding process. The mold channels have separation members, e.g. in the form of a shearing cylinder.
