Multi-purpose seal with a lock

The seal comprises a mobile fastening (1) consisting of a housing (2) containing a lock and a fastening element (3) which is locked in the housing. The lock comprises a cylinder (7) able to move in the housing between locking and unlocking positions. A remotely queried electronic component (6) storing data is held in a housing (21) which passes through part of the first housing and part of the lock cylinder when the latter is in the locking position. Any rotation of the cylinder from the locking position causes the component to break. An Independent claim is included for a method of making a multi-purpose seal.
