<p>The invention relates to an automatic, derailment detection-actuated train braking system. More specifically, the invention relates to an automatic braking system (1) which is connected to the general automatic train braking system (6), comprising car derailment detection means (2) in the form of a bell which are operatively disposed opposite actuation means (3). The aforementioned detection means (2) are fixed to the bogie (BV) and the actuation means are fixed to the car frame (BT) such that the bogie can be monitored as it rotates around the vertical (V) and transverse horizontal (HT) axes thereof. In this way, the above-mentioned actuation means (3) are actuated when pre-established bogie rotation angle values signifying a car derailment are exceeded and the automatic braking system is subsequently actuated.</p> |
