HEAT ROLLER AND HEAT ROLLER MANUFACTURING METHOD

A heat roller comprising a cylindrical sheet-heater, an inner tube and an outer tube. A resistor member of the sheet-heater is buried in an insulation member. The outer tube has a non-straight shape when viewed from the axial direction thereof. The heat roller is manufactured by feeding pressurized fluid into the inner tube, and inflates the inner tube, the sheet-heater and the outer tube to a die. The die has a non-straight inner surface shape when viewed from the axial direction, and thus, the outer tube of the manufactured heat roller has also a non-straight shape. At the same time, the end parts of the inner tube can be formed to a desired shape.
