A sprayhead assembly comprises a tubular body 10 one end 20 of which is adapted for association with a spray gun and the other end 11of which has a spray discharge opening, a lateral opening formed in the wall of the body, and a generally spherical spray tip holder 12 mounted for rotation within tht bore of the body between a bearing surface constituted by the rear margin of the spray discharge opening 11 and an aptertured bearing seal 13 maintained in operable position by a screw-threaded apertured plug 16 engaged within a screw-threaded part of said body whereby the spray tip held by said holder may be turned from an operative spraying position to a reversed position wherein it is cleaned by continuing flow of spray material, and to a position wherein the spray tip may be removed through the lateral opening. The holder may have a stem 23 and handle 26 attached for effecting rotation, the spray tip being retained in a bore through the holder by the screw-threaded plug 16.</p> |
