FIELD: cooling and cryogenic equipment, particularly for gas cooling and separating. SUBSTANCE: gas cooler has body with inlet and outlet joining pipes, gas-distribution device and heat removing system. Gas-distribution device comprises rotating slide having nozzles and inlet pipes arranged at an angle to slide radius. Heat removing system is made as fan arranged on slide shaft in receiving pipes and collector hot ends. Thin- walled receiving pipes have rectangular cross-section and arranged close to each other. Walls contact area is not more then 10% of receiving pipes cross-section area. Gas-distribution device body cold parts and pipes are heat-insulated.
