<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a media driving device capable of easily removing dust when the dust stuck to an objective lens of an optical pickup. <P>SOLUTION: In a media driving device comprising a turn table 8 for rotating with a disk-like medium such as a compact disk put thereon; and an optical pickup 10 for reading recorded information in a medium while moving in a radius direction of the medium put on the turn table 8, a blade 16 for generating downward air currents by the rotating of the turn table 8 is formed on a rear surface of the turn table 8. Accordingly, the dust stuck to an objective lens 10B can be removed by directing the air currents generated by rotating the turn table 8 in a state of a re-approximation of the optical pickup 10 to the turn table 8. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
