PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk cartridge which is improved in dust resistance while smooth sliding of a shutter is assured. SOLUTION: The cartridge 1 is provided with a disk 2, a shell for housing the disk 2, the shutter 4 for opening and closing an aperture 36 disposed at the shell and shutter pressing means 6 for pressing the shutter 4 to the shell 3 when the shutter 4 moves and comes to the position where the aperture 36 is closed. The shutter 4 is provided with a shutter body 43 which is superposed on one surface of the shell 3 and opens and closes the aperture 36 and a section 46 to be operated which is formed by bending one end of the shutter body 43 and is superposed on the other surface of the shell 3. The shutter pressing means 7 infiltrates the spacing between the section 46 to be operated and the other surface of the shell 3 and presses the shutter body 43 to the one surface of the shell 3 when the shutter 4 moves and comes to the position where the aperture 36 is closed.
