System for applying paste type material with a rotating dispensing element in under a reservoir with adjustable dosing rate

A simplified system for applying paste type materials, e.g. printing ink, has a rotating dispensing element (24) in contact with the dispensing site (28) and fed by a reservoir (14) sitting on top of the dispensing element. The dispensing rate can be adjusted by the relative positions of the dispensing element and the reservoir. The dispensing element can be a roller or a sphere and the system can be extended with multiple dispensing elements.
