<p>A tubular ceramics honeycomb filter (1), comprising a plurality of cells (3) forming the flow passages of fluid partitioned in a honeycomb shape by partition walls (2) of porous structure, wherein the partition walls (2) function as filter layers by sealed parts (10) alternately formed at one cell opening parts of specified cells (3) and the other cell opening parts of the remaining cells (3), characterized in that a length between the one tube end face (4) and the other tube end face (5) of the filter (1) is 500 to 1000 mm, the maximum outside dimensions of the tube end faces are 200 to 350 mm, and the filtering areas of the filtering layers are 4 m2 or larger, whereby a flue gas processing capacity can be increased, and characteristics suitably used mainly as a filter for dust collector can be provided.</p> |
