<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem wherein a discharge fault such as a dribble, a writing skip or the like occurs in the case of writing to cause incongruous writing. <P>SOLUTION: A ballpoint pen tip holds a ball as a writing member in a ball holding chamber by partly projecting the ball from a tip opening. The holding chamber is caulked at its tip and inward deformed. A method for manufacturing the ballpoint pen tip comprises the steps of forming the front end of the holding chamber with an oblique surface, and caulking the outer peripheral side wall of the oblique surface to be inward deformed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
