This invention is about hair dyeing composition for human hair on aqueous basis and in an emulsion form comprising at least one direct-acting hair anionic dyestuff, an emulsifier and has a pH in the range of 1 to 5. The compositions disclosed here are especially suitable for reducing undesired excessive skin coloring. If skin coloring occurs during hair coloring process, it is then easier to remove.
