HIGH PRESSURE FUEL FEED DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high pressure fuel feed device enhancing a sealing property of the fuel and a lubricant of an engine.

SOLUTION: The high pressure fuel feed device 6 is provided with: a plunger 161 for forming a fuel pressurization chamber 163 between a sleeve 160 and it by reciprocating/sliding in the sleeve 160 of a high pressure fuel pump 16 and delivering the pressurized fuel; a bolt 180 constituting a part of a box body of the high pressure fuel pump 16; and an oil seal 169 press-fitted and fixed to an inner wall surface in the bolt 180 and sliding on an outer peripheral wall of the plunger 161 by a reciprocating motion of the plunger 161 to seal the fuel and the lubricant. The bolt 180 is formed at a butting part with the oil seal 169 such that a press-fit load becomes high at the time of latter half of a press-fit stroke than the first half thereof.
