CONTROLLING AGENT FOR DISEASE INJURY IN BRASSICACEOUS PLANT AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING THE DISEASE INJURY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controlling agent for disease injuries in brassicaceous plants having high controlling effects on root-knot diseases which are disease injuries in the brassicaceous plants without causing environmental pollution and to provide a method for controlling the disease injuries. SOLUTION: The controlling agent comprises Acidovorax delafieldii having an antagonistic ability on the root-knot diseases in the brassicaceous plants as an active ingredient. The controlling agent comprises especially a CGF4241 strain which is a new microorganism as the active ingredient. The attack on the disease injuries of the root-knot diseases in the brassicaceous plants can strongly be inhibited without causing problems of the environmental pollution. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
