THERMOPLASTIC MOLDING MATERIAL FOR VERY THIN MOLDING, VERY THIN MOLDING, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE MOLDING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoplastic molding material which can be rapidly molded into a very thin molding having a thickness as thin as 0.8 mm or below. SOLUTION: The thermoplastic molding material contains a polyethylene terephthalate resin and a polyethylene resin. The polyethylene resin has a molecular distribution in which polyethylene molecules with molecular weights in the range of the weight-average molecular weight±10% constitute at least 65 wt.% of the entire polyethylene molecules. The polyethylene resin is contained in an amount of 3-15 wt.% based on the total of the polyethylene terephthalate resin and the polyethylene resin. The fluidity of the thermoplastic molding material can be improved without detriment to the properties of the constituent PET resin, so that it can be rapidly molded into a very thin molding with a thickness of 0.8 mm or below.
