<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of prior art that an error occurs in a plurality of pages on a carrying passage and the page not printed normally cannot be determined accurately and an additional hardware, e.g. a plurality of sensors connected with the carrying passage of a printer, is required for accurate detection, and to provide a means for making a switch between execution and nonexecution of a process for performing print processing of next page until print of one page is completed (the sheet is discharged to the outside of the printer) and then feeding a sheet for each job. <P>SOLUTION: The printer system comprises a host computer transmitting print data based on some print control code system, and a printer receiving these data and printing them while switching the print speed for each print data (print job) wherein a means for adding an instruction specifying a print mode for specifying the print speed of the printer to the print data (print job) is provided in the host computer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
