<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that, when the conventional inverted synthesizing aperture radar (ISAR) equipment is used, images gets blurred due to external noise, such as a radar clutter, and an internal noise produced from the electronic circuit of a radar equipment and, since the target identification is performed by comparing the blurred images with a reference image, the target identifying accuracy of the equipment becomes lower. <P>SOLUTION: An ISAR equipment is improved in target identifying accuracy by eliminating excessive noise by binarizing images and using an image having a clear outline at the time of comparing the images with the reference image. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
