PURPOSE: A method for setting drill cycle is provided to prevent the damage of a drill by enabling an unskilled worker to easily set the drill cycle. CONSTITUTION: A method for setting drill cycle for drilling comprises the steps of: calculating a ratio of the depth to the diameter of a drilled hole(110); and comparing the ratio of the depth to the diameter with a machining type parameter(120,130), and determining the drill cycle.
