PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a damper opening/closing device in a register capable of securely closing a ventilation inlet and recognizing the completion of operation, when blowing air into a vehicle is stopped. SOLUTION: The register 1 is provided with a damper for opening/closing air blown from a duct at the back of a retainer 2. The damper is openably and closably disposed by operating an operation dial 10 via a connecting mechanism. A lever 12 provided with a protruding claw 14 is formed at the operation dial 10 and can be engaged with a boss 24 protruding from the retainer 2. The engagement of the engaging part 15 of the claw 14 with the boss 24 allows the closing position of the damper to be securely locked as well as the operation finish position of the operation dial 10 to be manually sensed.
