PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To separate spent film-embedded glass into glass and the embedded film only by a mechanical method at a low cost and reuse the separated glass and film, respectively. SOLUTION: A cylindrical part 1 which has many clearances on the outer wall part 13 and includes a plurality of rods 14 on the inside is rotated at a prescribed speed so that the rods 14 are made to fall on the spent film- embedded glass from above. As a result, glass is separated from the embedded film while being bent and crushed finely by the impact of the rods 14. The pieces of the crushed glass are made to drop out of the clearances of the part 13 and the separated film is left in the part 1. Thus, the separated glass and film are recovered, respectively.
