PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ornamental resin molded body which can reduce a waste of brightening particles and can obtain metallic glossiness, etc., giving a depth feeling. SOLUTION: The ornamental resin molded body 10 is composed of an opaque base material 12 and a transparent layer 14. The brightening particles 18a are mixed into the transparent layer 14 only, and are not mixed into the opaque base material 12. Accordingly, the waste of the brightening particles 18a can be prevented and a manufacturing cost can be reduced. In addition, because the light from the outside penetrates to the deep portion of the transparent layer 14 and is reflected by the brightening particles 18a located in the deep portions, the metallic glossiness, etc., giving the depth feeling can be obtained.
