PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acrylic thermosetting powder coating composition which improves the conventional homogeneity even by the conventional compounding operation, and particularly improves the compatibility with a polyester thermosetting powder coating without deteriorating the external appearance properties (smoothness, gloss and the like), physical properties (hardness, mar resistance and the like), and chemical properties (acid resistance, solvent resistance and the like) of a coating film. SOLUTION: The acrylic thermosetting powder coating composition comprises a glycidyl group-containing acrylic resin (A) which is composed of a modified product of at least one kind of a glycidyl copolymer (a) having a glycidyl group and/or aβ-methylglycidyl group with a carboxy compound (C) and may contain the unmodified glycidyl copolymer (a) and a polycarboxylic compound (B) of a curing agent component, and the carboxy compound (C) is at least one kind of a compound selected from fatty acids, oxyacids, and polycarboxylic compounds.
