PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flame-retardant resin composition containing a rubber- modified styrenic resin, having excellent flame retardancy, even when a conventionally-added flame retarder and auxiliary flame retarder are decreased in their amounts, preventing molten resin from dripping when burnt, and having excellent impact resistance, scratch resistance, and fluidity. SOLUTION: This flame-retardant resin composition contains (A) the rubber- modified styrenic resin, (B) an organic compound-intercalated laminar silicate compound, and (C) the flame retarder, wherein the organic compound- intercalated laminar silicate compound (B) and the flame retarder are together contained in an amount of 5-30 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. of the rubber- modified styrenic resin (A) and a weight ratio of the organic compound- intercalated laminar silicate compound (B) to the flame retarder (C) is in the range of 5-50 to 95-50.
