A thermosetting composition comprising at least one epoxide resin modified by one or more aromatic polyamines and formed from at least one polyepoxide containing at least 2 primary amine groups and with a molar ratio of polyamine to epoxide such that there are 1-6-2.6 epoxide groups for each amine group and at least one porosity agent or the degradation product(s) of such an agent. An Independent claim is included for an alveolar material produced from the composition.
