Process to produce dried singulated cellulose pulp fibers

A drying system is disclosed for processing pulp into singulated and dried fibers, consisting of: introducing wet pulp and air into a jet drier; drying the pulp to form singulated pulp fibers; separating the pulp and air; and treating the wet pulp with a treatment substance prior to drying to reduce the knot content.
