PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dimethyl ether storage container employing the most appropriate insulating material not susceptible to swelling or dissolution caused by contact with the dimethyl ether. SOLUTION: In a dimethyl ether storage container 10 for storing the dimethyl ether liquefied under a low and room temperature, an outer peripheral face of a container body 11 is coated by foamed material of phenol resin, melamine resin, or urea resin to form an insulating layer.
