PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an objective lens driving mechanism, by which a lens holder is held on the neutral position in the tracking direction without using a magnetic piece and a tracking magnet can be arranged asymmetrically with respect to a guide shaft. SOLUTION: The objective lens driving mechanism 1 is provided with a driving part 2 including a lens holder 23, whereon a shaft hole 28 is formed while having the objective lens 21, focusing coils 24a, 24b and tracking coils 25a, 25b arranged on the side surfaces of the lens holder 23 and a flexible printed circuit board 4 fixed on the upper surface of the lens holder 23, and a fixed part 3 including the guide shaft 33 inserting to the shaft hole 28, focusing magnets 34a, 34b and tracking magnets 35a, 35b for giving magnetic fields to the coils, and a yoke 31, whereto the guide shaft 33 and these magnets are fixed. In this mechanism, the flexible printed circuit board 4 is provided with a band-shaped part 42 extended from the lens holder 23, and an elastic member 5 is joined with the side surface of the lens holder 23 at the side of the band- shaped part 42 and the surface of the band-shaped part 42.
