FIELD: display engineering; data display means and modules of color light-emitting diodes. SUBSTANCE: proposed method involves pulsed mode of brightness control for light-emitting diodes with aid of inductive component excited by variable-length pulses thereby normalizing unit brightness value. Varying quantity of exciting pulses arriving from inductive member controls brightness. EFFECT: enlarged dynamic range of brightness control and enhanced efficiency. 4 cl, 6 dwg
