<p>A portable levee system (10) including a substantially U-shaped lower frame (12) having a hopper truss (16) extending from said lower frame, a hopper support frame (22) slidably connected to vertical hopper support members (24) depending from the hopper truss (16). A hopper (32) is positioned in the hopper support frame (22) and a bag rail (34) depends from the hopper support frame (22) and beneath the hopper. The hopper frame may be adjustable manually by rack (82) and pinion (84), by a hydraulic system (90), or by other mechanical means. The bag rail (34) may have a plurality of bag guides (42) disposed therein for quickly and easily positioning a levee bag beneath the hopper (32).</p> |
